Oeko-Tex® Standard 100

AgPURE W is a proven auxiliary for the biological active finish of textiles according to Oeko-Tex® Standard 100.

AgPURE W has been tested thoroughly by accredited toxicological and/or dermatological institutes, to meet the strict regulations of the International Oeko-Tex® Association.

Textile products with AgPURE W are non-toxic and have received the certification label „Confidence in textiles - Tested for harmful substances according to Oeko-Tex® Standard 100. AgPURE W, a harmless antimicrobial additive, manufactured by ras materials, substitutes common biocidal additives for textiles that are potentially harmful to human health.  An overview of all active chemical products is given here. EU-Biocides Directive (98/8/EC)

AgPURE is a registered biocidal product within the biocide regulation.

Registered biocidal product-types for AgPURE: Product-type 2: Private area and public health area disinfectants and other biocidal products. Product-type 4: Food and feed area disinfectants. Product-type 5: Drinking water disinfectants. Product-type 9: Fibre, leather, rubber and polymerised materials preservatives. Product-type 11: Preservatives for liquid-cooling and processing systems Active substances manufactured or imported only for use in biocidal products are covered by the Directive 98/8/EC of the European Parliament, which can be seen as a part of the REACH regulation. As long as AgPURE Nanosilber is used as a biocide, the registration of treated products under REACH can be omitted.
