AgPURE™ Antimicrobial Masterbatch (PET, PA, PP ...)

Polymer masterbatches with fiber spinning properties are the basis for antimicrobial textiles. The REM picture on the right shows the homogenous distribution of silver Nanoparticles in PA/PET microfibers. The fibers will be produced in China, Russia, India and Iran and will be distributed all over the world by our customers.

Ventilation Pipes

Preventing the growth of harmful germs like Legionella

Air pipes or exhaust air ducts are used in central facilities to control ventilation. These ventilation pipes are often made of PE. As a result of condensation during the cooling season, the typically moist environment in the pipe can enhance the growth of problematic germs like Legionella or several fungi. Inhaling air that has ventured through these pipes, containing contaminated aerosols, causes diseases like pneumonia or allergic reactions. AgPURE Nanosilver in the inner layer of such PE air pipes prevents the growth of such problematic germs.
